The story of Motheo TVET College

The Motheo Technical Vocational and Education and Training College was formally established by the Department of Education: Free State, on 1 April 2002 as part of the rationalisation of the technical college sector from an original 152 colleges into 50 mega institutions, forming the nucleus of the new Technical Vocational and Education and Training Sector. Motheo TVET College was constituted from the merger of the former Bloemfontein, Hillside View and Thaba Nchu technical colleges and the Kagisanong College of Education.

Bloemfontein College was a state-aided college; Hillside View College and Kagisanong College were state colleges, and The Thaba Nchu College a manpower Campus in the former Bophuthatswana. Dear Bloemfontein Campus: NATED STUDENTS (full time and part time) You are urgently called to attend classes until Friday 1 April 2022. In class the Assessments and Assignments will be done. You must verify your registration details and sign on the Prelims. Please share the message with your classmates.

Dear Engineering Studies Students You are urgently requested to visit your nearest SSS Centre to apply for African Scholars Fund Bursary. The bursary caters for (N1-N6) Engineering Studies only and it does not pay for allowances but pays for tuition fees ONLY! Requirements are stipulated on the application form. NB: ONLY STUDENTS WHO DO NOT HAVE ANY FUNDING FOR 2022 ACADEMIC YEAR ARE REQUIRED TO APPLY. CLOSING DATE: 25 MARCH 2022
